The priority here is clear; the personal interests of the poster trumps the interests of the peoples being ground to dust under the wheels of imperialism. The tendency of American posters to treat existence within the US as uniquely bad is the more general result of this tendency, to favor the lived experience of themselves or the in-group - largely other Americans - over structural analysis, one that at times tips over into pure nationalism and racism.

This is in fact the near opposite of the terms BEB and PMC. There is no obscurantism, just pure demand for material improvements in the language of the common person.

An impossibility of course for the materialist ideology these groups claim to adhere to. The tension is inevitably resolved by the group abandoning materialism entirely, retaining only a socialist branding and turning into a millenarian cult.
