whatever you call the resolution on the iPhone 12 mini I’m still rocking 1920x1080 on the home desktop. it’s no longer exciting but it gets the job done, and it doesn’t cost anything to keep using it.

honestly tho it’s get out of pharmacy. most of my problems relate to me hating my job, or at least feeling my career future is dying and need to get off before everyone else does too. but somehow earn more too.

3840x2160, and i expect that to stay the same for the rest of my life. but for real to lean into building some social life, even if this means caring a lot less about covid (as far as my own safety goes that is). did postdocs in south africa and then germany 2016-2019, but moved homewards end of 2019 to try to (re)build a workable social situation, but that was largely interrupted by covid. nothing big, but there's active chess and archery clubs nearby, and both seem good things to give a try.

1024x768 is one of those saucy resolutions that teases your desperate rear end with a single odd number (1 doesn’t count). a rare and lusty sight amongst the usually conservative even numbers

I had a 1280x1024 monitor for a long time. thought it was pretty ok til I got a 1600x900. then I got my current 1920x1080 monitor because at 28" it had the same dot pitch as the previous one. lomarf

i always liked that the matrix used mac keyboards. they may have put some stickers on the keys but i'd know that font (univers condensed light oblique) anywhere
