I saw this posted on Twitter with the observation that the goal of the right now seems to be joining the ranks of 'cancelled' people, even if they've done nothing of note and no one knows who they are. It's basically the new 'deplorable' I guess.

If you can't be successful, get yourself 'cancelled'.
