Completely different style of match to Naito/Ibushi and Okada/Ospreay (and of course Takagi/Cobb) but no less excellent. A perfect face/heel combo, fantastic match structure, great close-calls and pitch-perfect callbacks to their history. Just an utterly superb match, during the final phase I was on the edge of my seat, it was a masterclass in anticipation/fear. What a match.

Nth for all these reasons. And I'll add a holy poo poo these guys are so smooth together. Seriously making counters and transitions look effortless.

 I reflexively posted an Nth to White/Ibushi since I watched it live when I meant to do a big nomination post. Whoops.

From what I've seen so far, here are my nominations:
MOTYC - Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay - WK15 Night 1 (1/4)
MOTYC - Jeff Cobb vs. Shingo Takagi - WK15 Night 2 (1/5)

Cobb/Takagi had me yelling at my TV. Absolutely astounding match. If it had more of a story ala White/Ibushi, I'd easily put it as my MOTY thus far.

My initial reaction was HM because there was no build or stakes to the match. But after thinking about it more, this was a perfect showcase of everyone (save maybe Rin but I'm okay with that since she didn't do much to impress me).

This match flowed amazingly from crisp, innovative spots to comedy to intense strike battle. Really awesome match. Nth-ing the MOTYC nod.

Technically it might have been a mess but they booked and executed this thing so incredibly beautifully it doesn't matter, just a pure joy of a match to watch.
