Figuring out Mana and Artifice is pretty rough, not sure if the mod maker is trying for obscure or just doesnt have a good grasp on either English or organization. I did finally make it up to constructs though. FYI don't silktouch coal, you need a crystal that drops from coal ore to make a few things in M&A. Or maybe go half and half. I need to watch some more videos or something, because I still can't figure out how to make him do anything. Making a Construct Cute little bugger

Is there any option to get One Probe to work with Storage Drawers on 1.16? It has seemingly never worked well with it, like now it doesn't even tell what the item is let alone how many items are in there. The One Probe has always been the shittiest version of Waila/Hwyla. I can only assume its just easier to throw in a pack.

Well this is interesting. 1.16 mod creating instanced loot. i.e. everyone gets to fully loot every mineshaft/temple/fortress chest. Never come across an empty chest on a server again. Part 1 of a new Create series for some of the new changes to the mod. It's mostly what we've seen before though he does whip through it a lot quicker. He does state the crushing wheel can 'potentially' do up to 5x ore crushing/washing now. Though it looks like we have a smaller 'mill' version to do first before we get to the wheel now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBrpqvCLMEk 1.16.5 Was also watching a Xisuma video for 1.17 Where we get an extra 64 blocks above and below what we already have now. So underground will be 128 deep with sweet, sweet caves.

I havent looked for awhile, but last time I did look, I couldnt find one mod on Fabric that uses anything like RF. No mods containing ore doubling of any sort. Not sure if this has changed.

The latest Direwolf20 pack has Astral, Ars Nouveau, Mana and Artifice and Botania. Plus some of the smaller ones that I have never tried, the nature ones.

Heres a weird problem i'm having with Mekanism in a 1.16 modpack. Setting up a tier 3 chain (1 ore=4 ingots) and everything is fine except for the chemical infuser which takes chlorine and hydrogen to make hydrogen chloride. I can only get the infuser to take 1 chemical at a time, have tried switching all sides around, each will input separately on its own no matter the side, but when I try to input both, one simply will not go in. I can input the 2nd to a chemical tank and use a gauge dropper to put in 10k mb at a time which starts the machine making HCI but not by pipe. The pipe connects fine as it will input on its own. Made sure all sides are set as input. No idea why I can't get both to connect at the same time.

Came across a video of MoM checking out Engineers life 2 for 1.16.5 which may be kinda cool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_vXN39XEMc So far it seems that it has a robust quest book but items arent gated, if you can find the resources you can build it. But certain things require leveling, like an iron sword would be slow to use until you've level wood and then stone first. Also armor cannot be used at first. Guessing these new changes to all ores being affected by fortune in Vanilla are going to cause an impact with ore doubling up to quadrupling in mods. They will either have to make it a % chance or there will just be a huge amount of iron from 1.17 on up. Also want to see what any mods that use copper will do with the addition of vanilla copper and its color changes.

Specifically the MultiMC dev edition does FTB. Not sure if regular version does yet. Though it can still be finicky. Took me like 6 tries to get the latest DW20 for 1.16. Finally I tried renaming rather than leaving it as it was and then it finally worked.

Seems some of the newer Fabric Modpacks take Java 16 which I couldnt even find an installer for, just a zip to extract and point MultiMC to. Sadly the 1.17 Fabric modpacks only seem to have Tech Reborn in which I am not a fan of. Soon more tech mods, hopefully.

Looks like Create and Immersive Engineering are up to 1.18 now. Which some nerd lovingly jammed into a pack. There were a few Fabric RF mods that got brought up to 1.18, but I just dont like Tech Reborn. Seems that every time i've had a crash on newer packs it was related to that.

Looks like Mekanism finally came out for 1.18. The one thing i've been waiting on. Or at least one of the good Forge tech mods besides IE. Fabric has jack for good tech mods.

1.18 Mekanism Disassembler doesnt have vein mining any more. Though the late game suit still has a module for it. Looks like Direwolf has started a 1.18 Lets Play and modpack. Its on FTB, but pulls up on the MultiMC launcher, might need the dev version though. His packs are usually fairly stable. He just started it days ago though, so may want to wait to see if any bugs pop up. 247 mods, look like Tinkers and Thermal have finally updated to 1.18. They would have to make something akin to the windows/console versions which would likely start costing us coins for modpacks. Imagine how much a 200 mod pack would end up costing us if every mod wants money. Sadly this is probably our best end option.

Create pumps/pipes seem to be the only thing that works to pull lava out of cauldrons in the new infinite lava generation using dripstone. I couldnt get either Pipez nor Mekanism liquid pipes to connect.

I tried PolyMC in the hopes I could DL an updated DW20 pack. I got the first version of 1.18 and it seems to spawn nearly no nickle. Sadly PolyMC fails to DL it also.

I've tried multiple times today to get it and always get an error. Best thing about the error, while only being as wide as the text, it has no bottom. Goes off the bottom of my screen and is not resizeable. So maybe theres something more or a button to download a mod, but I cant tell.
