Now that the season is over for a lot of teams I think it would be good to whip ourselves into a lather over which washed up retreads, weed guys, underachieving 1st round picks and franchise tag escapers we want in our favorite color of uniform next season. I am speaking of course about NFL Free Agency. It may not officially start until March 18th but there’s never a bad time to pound your fist on the table and say MATT JUDON PUSHES THIS TEAM OVER THE EDGE!!!

You can also use this thread to analyze who your team’s upcoming free agents are and why you think your fourth string tight end is worth extending a two year deal to. Or if you’re me you can complain about how last years free agents were a bunch of loving bums who basically stole 13 million dollars from you, the taxpayer.

gently caress this guy for real though.

^^^this is spotracs list of UFAs and RFAs. Consult it as you would consult an important legal document or an Elder Scroll, immediately blinding you with its raw power and immensity of statistical information beyond the comprehension of man, mer or horrifying lizardman/catman.

Here’s a couple highlights if you want to try to talk yourself into some dudes who weren’t even worth their fifth year option, or whatever.

Ok have fun!!

So Clowney's value has effectively gone below 10mil line at this point right? Injury, injury, underperformed, injury, underperformed, injury. I can't imagine him getting even what he got this year from a desperate team. 1 full season and twice hit 9 sacks.

He's kept himself relevant by effectively making The Decision for 3ish years at this point.

The Titans have twenty nine players going into free agency! That’s a lot of loving guys! Regardless of what happens in the playoffs it’s gonna be kind of hard to judge some of the dudes on defense here because a lot of these dudes were really good and then magically overnight turned into total losers??? Definitely on the players and not on the coaching and scheme. Yeah.

Jadeveon Clowney DE - Hit the bricks immediately and enjoy your earnings for zero production
DaQuan Jones DT - This dude is gonna get a decent payday but I doubt it’s with us. He’s an effective run stopper and that’s about it.
Corey Davis WR - Corey has underwhelmed just about every season but this one. Is he finally figuring it out or was his skill set maximized and this season was the result? Hard to say honestly. I think he’s gonna get a good sized payday and it probably will not be in Tennessee. Enjoy chicago!
Stephen Gostkowski K - pretty well washed. Wouldn’t be surprised if he retires. He’s been clutch at long distance and super inconsistent otherwise
MyCole Pruitt TE - see below
Ty Sambrailo T - ok as depth but not good if you have to count on him. Suffered a mysterious injury that our coaching staff refused to elaborate on. You can do worse for an extra tackle but ideally our terrible first round draft pick who keeps getting arrested and taped drinking on boats can get it together so we can let this dude go
Jack Crawford DT - had a couple sacks this year. This is all he can really do though. Who knows. Maybe he’s be good with good coaching. I’d like to see him back
Will Compton ILB - dude’s not good and is mainly around as a favor to Taylor lewan. Decent special teams guy and that’s about it
Marshall Newhouse RT - this guy sucks. Go away man
Nick Dzubnar ILB - just a guy
Chris Milton CB - solid special teams beginner. Would love to have him or josh kalu back. Preferably both.
Geoff Swaim TE - see below
Senorise Perry RB - just a guy. Good as practice squad depth.
Daren Bates ILB - bates hasn’t played much this year. I’d like to see him back as depth.
Matt Overton LS - def resign Overton.
Tye Smith CB - Tye has been terrible this year. He’s walking in all likelihood.
Jonnu Smith TE - see below
Kalif Raymond WR - weirdly quiet this year. Mainly just a deep threat but was pretty much totally invisible this year. Our line was not typically strong enough in pass pro to give him time. If he can be had for cheap I’d love him back but he won’t get much opportunity here.
Desmond King CB - traded a pick for this ugly dude. I would like to bring him back in the event we let Malcolm butler go. He’s shown some stuff but overall the tape is kind of useless with how awful the defense was as a whole. He’s definitely better than johnathan Joseph was!!
Jayon Brown ILB - jayon rules. I want him back badly but don’t see it happening
Anthony Firkser FB - see below
D'Onta Foreman RB - looked pretty good in limited time spelling henry. Once darrynton evans was healthy he didn’t play again. Hope he catches on somewhere, he showed a lot of enthusiasm when he was playing
Jamil Douglas G - dude isn’t great. Ben Jones and Rodger saffold are getting beat up and old we should draft somebody to replace this guy and prepare for the future.
Matt Dickerson DE - just a guy in the worst pass rush unit in the league. Bye dude
Joshua Kalu CB - see Chris Milton above. Would prob rather have Milton if push comes to shove
Breon Borders CB - for a dude who came in as a practice squad street signing breon showed a lot of good tackling and hunger. Excellent depth but don’t want him starting
Wyatt Ray DE - practice squad
Nick Westbrook WR - later dude
Khari Blasingame FB - def resign this man no questions asked.

TIGHT END THUNDERDOME
All four tight ends are free agents. In a perfect world we would reup Jonnu smith, Firkser and mycole pruitt but I’m guessing Jonnu smith will head to like New England or some poo poo in which case we will re sign the other three. If Jonnu does come back here firkser is probably gone IMO.

My predictions for Tennessee are dependent on a few things. First, Butler and Adam Humphries could both get cut and free up some space. Humphries is almost a done deal imo but butler was pretty good this year. I’m operating on the assumption that they let him go. Let’s assume that malcom butler is back too. Secondly, I’m assuming rashaan evans does not get the option year picked up.

I think we retain one of Jonnu smith and Corey Davis but not both. If push came to shove I think we hold onto Jonnu and Corey walks. If Jonnu reups then I’m thinking we target a guy like Josh Reynolds or my personal dream, Marvin Jones for our number 2 wr and also let Firkser go. If we retain Corey then Jonnu is all but gone and we’ll reup the other three TEs.

I think they extend jayon brown to a big deal and let rashaan evans walk. Desmond king would be a good pickup if we cut Butler but I’d rather have butler tbh. Daquan Jones is gone for sure.

gently caress Clowney

Ravens don't have huge FAs besides Judon and Ngakoue

Matt Judon EDGE and Yannick Ngakoue EDGE - They can only pay one of them because soon they have to address Lamar, Mark Andrews and Orlando Brown Jr. Given the team's desperate need for pass rush, it's probably Ngakoue, even though Judon does a lot of things well. Yannick being younger and the Maryland connection certainly helps. Plus they had to give up a pick for him, so yeah
Willie Snead WR - They have to keep him on a cheap deal, he's not getting any younger but he's possibly the most reliable receiver on the team lmao
Derek Wolfe IDL - He's been underwhelming as interior pass rusher compared to what he used to do when younger, but he's been really good against the run and has a cheap contract
Matt Skura C - He can't snap the freaking ball but the line has problems with continuity and you always need more OLs
Robert Griffin III QB - The best Lamar backup, unless they really fall in love with Tyler Huntley or something
Anthony Levine S - Co-cap is now only a special teams player and not very good at it, but he's respected in the organization so who knows what happens
Chris Moore WR - Doesn't play WR anymore, sees the field mostly as a gunner. Harbaugh seems to really like him
Tyus Bowser EDGE - He's been quietly developing into a fine player and the Ravens don't have much in the way of OLBs
Gus Edwards RB - Owns and if doesn't get an extension we riot
Justin Ellis IDL - Getting old but the only realistic option when Brandon Williams isn't playing
Trystan Colon-Castillo C - Word is the coaches see a lot of potential in him and he was just drafted in 2020
Chris Board LB - Special teams player that's seeing some snaps at ILB and surprisingly doing a decent job
Pernell McPhee EDGE - Way too old
Dez Bryant WR - lol
D.J. Fluker - RG - OL depth
Kristian Welch LT - OL depth
Jihad Ward IDL - DL depth
Khalil Dorsey CB - CB depth
Jordan Richards S - S depth
Morgan Cox LS - The wolf pack, bitch
Davontae Harris CB - Signed only because like 10 corners got hurt this season
Tramon Williams CB - Signed only because like 10 corners got hurt this season
Eric Tomlinson TE - Signed only because Nick Boyle got hurt
Sean Culkin TE - Signed only because Nick Boyle got hurt
Johnny Townsend P - Signed only because Sam Koch got the Rona
Antoine Wesley WR - Who?
DeAndrew White WR - Who?

Patriots

Guys of some importance:

G Joe Thuney - one of the better guards in the league, very rarely penalized, very rarely gives up pressures, an absolute mauler in the run. This is the kind of guy you overspend on to keep your rookie QB alive.

C David Andrews - Missed a month of the season with a broken thumb (and wasn't amazing for most of the rest of the season) after missing all of last season with blood clots in his lungs. He was one of the better centers in the league the two years before that, and could still command a solid premium. He's a reliable center who's a + run and pass blocker if healthy.

RB James White - An aging scat back who can catch 50+ passes out of the backfield easy. The kind of guy who'll get overpaid for what he gives you, but you won't be sad when he turns a bunch of leak routes into 7 yard pickups.

K - Nick Folk - a 37 year old kicker who's reliable. Sure, why not?

DE Deatrich Wise - A solid, inexpensive gap clogger on the edge. Not an edge rusher.

DT Lawrence Guy - A good, inexpensive gap clogger

DT Adam Butler - A solid, inexpensive gap clogger.

QB Cam Newton - Not as a starter most likely, but if you've got a young, running based QB, then who better to be a moderately well paid mentor backup who can spot start and not be embarrassing? He looked mostly dreadful throwing the ball this year, and after he caught Covid, just looked unsure and hesitant with the football, but he can still run a read mean option and if not pressured (he is also bad at feeling pressure) can deliver a decent football. If pressured or rushed at all will miss comically easy throws.

CB Jason McCourty. 34. Not very good. Not the worst. You pay him $4m to stabilize a position and not be embarrassing.

JAGS:

RB - Rex Burkhead. Gonna be 31, took a nasty injury this year, and at his best would be giving you like 500 YFS.
WR - Damiere Byrd. A capable 4th WR who should not be relied on.
Edge - John Simon. Going to be 31. Definition of a JAG.

And a bunch of other guys nobody cares about.

There's one important RFA worth mentioning, JC Jackson who racked up 9 ints on a lot of boom or bust play. He's got a lot of potential... but RFA contracts are awful to try and trade for, so expect him to sign for too much money somewhere next year.

BlindSite

Panthers
FB Alex Armah - Does some special teams stuff and occasionally takes an up back hand off or catches a swing route. Who cares?

WR Pharoh Cooper - Decent kick returner, be fine if he came back for cheap, or left, or whatever. Who cares?

RB Mike Davis - Runs angry and catches well, really fell off toward the end of the year in favor of rotating in Samuel and the rookie. I doubt he gets a big pay day but I would think someone offers him more money than the Panthers

CB Rasul Douglas - Kind of just a guy who ended up starting - after bouncing around a few places, tackles ok, allowed something like 60% of passes coming his way but is in a pretty tough division. Isn't exactly a long term starter but offers some value I guess - replaceable.

CB Corn Elder - cool name, trash player.

LS J.J. Jansen - Been with the team forever, will be 35 next year. Who cares?

C Tyler Larsen - Pretty much a career back up center that only ever saw duty when someone died. Not great, replaceable.

TE Chris Manhertz - Failed to take over the starting job, willing blocker. Pretty average receiver. Offers nothing after the catch, kind of plods and not in the good way for a tight end. Who cares?

G John Miller - played a fair bit this year, really JAG but I guess he could come back? I wouldn't lose sleep if he left.

T Taylor Moton - Needs to be retained - starting right tackle after a long time of that position being a rotating poo poo show (I can't remember there being a good player here the last decade).

T Russell Okung - Trent Scott played pretty well in relief of him so maybe he's expendable? Wouldn't surprise me to see him go.

G Chris Reed - Eh, who cares?

WR Curtis Samuel - probably the only player the team should definitely look to keep, kind of a dual threat player, lined up in the backfield and in the slot, very sound receiver but still has some technical flaws. Excellent in space. I think he'll walk if he gets the right offer, was very productive this year 118 touches 8.9 yards per reception/carry and 1051 scrimmage yards - would love to see him back but with CMC back, Moore emerging as a legit number 1 and Robby playing well he's likely able to be replaced with the right players picked up elsewhere.

OL Michael Schofield - eh

LB Julian Stanford -eh
LB Adarius Taylor -eh
LB Tahir Whitehead - fire him into the sun.

All three of these guys are kind of the same, just journey men linebackers who don't offer anything of substance.

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB Matt Breida
LB Kamu Grugier-Hill
C Ted Karras
OLB Vince Biegel
P Matt Haack
LB Elandon Roberts
S Kavon Frazier
RB DeAndre Washington
WR Isaiah Ford
WR Mack Hollins
QB Jake Rudock
LT Julie'n Davenport
DT Davon Godchaux
LB Calvin Munson
CB Jamal Perry
CB Nik Needham
T Adam Pankey
WR Kirk Merritt

Some notes:

I would imagine if Ryan Fitzpatrick gets a good option to start he'll take that somewhere and not retire quite yet.

Davon Godchaux is going to make someone who runs a 1-technique run specialist in their defense pretty happy

Matt Breida needs to go back to an outside zone team.

Vince Biegel was fun in 2019 and got hurt this year, I am not sure how much scheme makes OK pass rushers look better than they are at OLB though.

I’m tempted for the Browns to get like 2-3 players from free agency and then supplement from the draft. Not that I think the analytical guys would want to do that. Like if the Browns sign Bud Dupree, Von Miller and Suh for like 2 years or something and draft some secondary. Maybe we could have a defense. But we probably also need money to sign Baker to a multi year agreement and other players.

Ravens notes -

Tyus Bowser - just super versatile and is really someone they should keep. Legitimately good in coverage, can set the edge, rush the passer. Should have extended him earlier honestly.

Pernell McPhee - I'm fine with giving this guy another one-year deal, he's still useful

Derek Wolfe - word is they're already working on an extension. reliable run defense, stays healthy

Gus Edwards - I hate paying running backs but Gus has just been really good this year. RFA next year so maybe a 2nd round tender?

DE Olivier Vernon - had a pretty solid year and might've played his way into an extension if his achilles didn't implode week 27. Gone

DT Larry Ogunjobi - Fan favorite as a rookie and had a solid season then. He's been league average since. Gone

WR Rashard Higgins - The lone survivor of the 2016 class on the team. Has enough chemistry with Baker that he should get a new deal.

CB Terrance Mitchell - Depth corner that keeps finding himself on the field because of injuries. He's.....serviceable and familiar with the scheme probably gets himself another year.

Ward and Baker hit 5th year option territory in 2022 with Chubb and Teller hitting UFA the same year. To much money is coming due to be active in FA.

Bucs should have around $50m in cap space but that'll go quickly with the three prime guys to re-sign. They have tons of cap flexibility though so no issues making room where needed.

Likely to be re-signed:
Shaq Barrett - They'll probably do everything the can to bring him back because we have no pass rush depth. He wasn't quite as good as 2019 but still had a solid year.
Chris Godwin - He'll be re-signed or franchised. No way he's leaving.
Lavonte David - Can't imagine him going anywhere either.
Gronk - Eh, who knows, had a better year than expected but he's not worth as much as he's being paid.
Suh - Could see him coming back again for a one year deal. Still plays well.
Ryan Succop - had the best kicking season for a Bucs player. A low bar, but still.

Brought back for cheap:
Ryan Smith - ST player, replaceable
Nacho Roches - IL depth
Antony Auclair - blocking TE
Blaine Gabbert - Arians loves him for reasons
Kevin Minter - solid depth ILB
Josh Wells - depth OL
Jaydon Mickens - return man
Tanner Hudson - depth TE
Pat O'Connor - depth DL
Aaron Stinnie - depth OL

Comp pick fodder:
Antonio Clown - hopefully someone ponies up something for him, just hope it's not the Bucs
Leonard Fournette - Trent Richardson level of awareness, dude sucks, take him away. Someone will probably give him a 1 year deal.

Gone:
Steve McLendon - old
Joe Haeg - sucks
Ryan Griffin - time to release him into the wild
Lesean McCoy - washed
Andrew Adams - decent depth guy
Ross Cockrell - decent depth guy
Kenyon Barner - washed
TJ Logan - always hurt
Zach Triner - LS, who knows

I think both of the McCourty twins have talked about just potentially retiring.

EDIT: I think Newton would be an interesting player to use like the Colts did with Jacoby or the Saints have been with Taysom. I would never want him as a backup on my team regardless of what kind of QB you have - running or not - but he could be a really special weapon around the goal line or in short yardage situations. I'm not sure he'd be willing to do that though.

Cam Newton is only 31, and he is toast. That is really sad.

FLAWED
INTUITION

Toilet Rascal
Seattle's free agent class isn't too terrible, but there are a few standouts:

KJ Wright, OLB: I figured he was close to being done playing, but he went out and played some of the best ball of his career. There was so many times he blew up a screen to tackle a WR for a 3 yard loss because he saw it immediately. Given that he's spent his career here and the team loves him, they'll make a run at extending him a couple of years.

Shaquill Griffin, CB - this is a weird one. Hes clearly the best CB on the team and one of the better CBs on the market, but he's got up / down play. I think he's gonna demand more money than the Seahawks are willing to pay and leave for elsewhere and try to get whatever team he signs on with to get his brother as a practice squad member (whos an RFA this year).

Poona Ford, DT - the UDFA has been a fantastic run stopper and has slowly developed into an effective pass rusher. I hope Seattle keeps him.

Chris Carson, RB - has been a fantastic RB when he's stayed healthy which has been a problem. Russ's offense is way better when he's on the field, but injuries keep him from getting 1k yard seasons. Seattle beat writers think he's gonna get a payday on a different team, so its likely SEA will have to establish the run with someone else.

David Moore, WR - the team's #3 WR behind Lockett and Metcalf. Does he stay? I dunno, but I don't see his market value increasing a lot outside of Seattle.

Mike Iupati, G - the NFCW guard whos played for the 9ers and Cards. He's approaching the end of his career and will always miss a few games a season for injury (he's questionable this week for the playoffs!) but is stellar when he plays. He could retire, or take another 1 year deal. I'm happy if he comes back.

Jacob Hollister, TE - Greg Olsen almost certainly is retiring, and so that just leaves Will Dissly as the remaining TE on the roster. Hollister is a good catching TE, so unless they find some talent in the draft I think they'll make an attempt to keep him.

Quinton Dunbar, CB - we traded for him to shore up our bad secondary and after a weird off-season in which he was arrested for armed robbery then had the charges mysteriously dropped, he played horribly, albeit on a bad knee that sapped his speed. He's not coming back.

Ethan Pocic, C - was gonna be a bust draft pick, then converted to center where he's been... good? I have no idea what they'll do here because center seems to be the easiest offensive line position to fill.

Theres a lot of other 2nd / 3rd string / injured guys as well that I don't have an opinion on.

Chiefs will likely have gently caress all Cap space. And thanks to the #RunItBack stuff and most notable FAs last year signing 1 year deals, half the team is up for free agency, albeit none of the stars:

Notable ones (because no one cares about TEs not named Kelce on this team, or specialist gunners):

Le’Veon Bell – RB. Was here to contend for a season than go elsewhere. Damien Williams should be back next year to take the RB2/Veteran role. Gone
Darrel Williams – RB. Not sure what the market is. Been OK as a rotational/3rd down back. Not sure what the market will be, but can’t see him back.
Anthony Sherman – FB. Feels like he’s here until he retires and takes a coaching job.
Sammy Watkins – WR. Great WR2 when he isn’t injured. Should have been a cap casualty this year, but got a restructured deal that worked. Suspect he’ll end up testing the market.
DeMarcus Robinson – WR. Not sure if the market is the same as last year and he ends up back on another one year deal.
Austin Reiter – C – The IOL has been horrible for parts of the year, and really needs to get younger. Probably more likely to stick around if the price is right, especially since Kilgore is also a FA (and 4 years older).
Kelechi Osemele – G – Looked good until he blew out both knees. That seems like a killer for a 30+ year old OL.
Andrew Wylie – G/T – RFA. Probably the worst starter on the OL, but Versatile. Hopefully is a backup at best next year if he's back.
Mike Remmers – T – Been solid, stepped up when Osemele and then Schwartz got injuries and been decent at RT. Would like for him to come back next year as the swing tackle.
Alex Okafor – DE – Frequently injured and the Edge rushers have not been productive enough for the type of defence that Spags wants to run. Can’t see him back.
Tanoh Kpassagnon – DE – Disappointing considering this is supposed to be his contract year. If he’s back, it’ll be a cheap one year deal, suspect he’ll be gone.
Taco Charlton – DE – Looked alright before he got injured. Could see him back for another 1 year prove it deal for depth.
Mike Pennel – DT – Think he’s gone as there’s enough youth and depth at the position. Has been a good rotational piece for the past year and a half and vital as the run stuffer in the playoffs last year.
Damien Wilson – LB – They’ve basically been training Willie Gay to take over his spot next year. Not been terrible, but LB has been a definite weakness.
Ben Niemann – LB – Hopefully gone.
Daniel Sorensen – S – Feast and Famine player. Will miss a tackle one snap, then snag a pick in the next. Been a starter with Thornhill struggling since his return from injury. Not sure if he re-signs but he’s clearly well liked.
Bashaud Breeland – CB – I think he’ll be gone. Been a solid starter the last couple of years, but Sneed’s rise makes it easier to let him go.
Charvarius Ward – CB – RFA - Played in a cast with a broken hand. Could see him back, especially if Breeland is gone.

Matt Milano - He's a fast, smart, rangy linebacker who is a bit undersized. Disciplined, tackles well, and is excellent in coverage for a linebacker. Isn't big or strong enough to reliably shed blockers. Decent blitzer. When he was hurt, our defense sucked rear end. Very important piece, would be surprised if he was let go.

Jon Feliciano - By far the best lineman Brandon Beane scrounged off the scrap heap two years ago. He's a good pass blocker, but he especially excels in run blocking. Also seems to be the soul of the offensive line: you'll always see him leading celebrations and poo poo. Our offense was noticeably better when he came back from injury. Definitely a cut above your typical guard. Seems to love Buffalo, but if he wants big money, we might not be able to afford him(we have to pay Josh, will probably overpay Edmunds, etc.).

Daryl Williams - Easily displaced Cody Ford as the starting RT. Pretty average, but then, average is the new good on offensive lines. Might have earned himself more money than he's worth.

Brian Winters - He's smart, technically sound, and the coaching staff loves him, but he's pretty washed physically. Still makes for good depth: he can play either guard position and won't gently caress up too bad.

Andre Roberts - He's one of the NFL's top returnmen, despite being 33. He can't really do much of anything else, but he's a good role-player for as long as his body holds up.

Dean Marlowe - Kind of a journeyman veteran safety, the kind McDermott can't get enough of. Unlike Kurt Coleman from last year, Marlowe can play though. He'll occasionally sub in for Poyer or Hyde or come out in nickel, so he has some versatility. Good depth guy.

Isaiah McKenzie - McKenzie is small and extremely fast and agile, though he seems incapable of just going forward at times. Sometimes seen running in a semi-circle motion pre-snap(presumably in the hopes of getting it out of his system before the play). He can return kicks and punts pretty well, has shown some development as a WR, and can be a serious threat on jet sweeps and screens. Definitely more promising than the typical gadget receiver.

I would imagine if Ryan Fitzpatrick gets a good option to start he'll take that somewhere and not retire quite yet.

Man, i sure hope he'll get his shot at the playoffs. Might even be worth for Miami to have him for another year or 2, seemed to be good for Tua.

Possible cuts for the Giants:

OG Kevin Zeitler - he makes a lot, but is still really good.
OT Nate Solder - opted out due to Covid, might retire. Extremely inconsistent.
WR Golden Tate - honestly probably has a little left, but makes too much money.
TE Levine Toilolo - gone
LB David Mayo - not really a fit in the new scheme.
WR Cody Core - Good ST player who missed the year, makes a lot.

The first three potentially would open up a lot of money. The problem is the Giants have a lot of guys to resign.

QB Colt McCoy - would prefer to upgrade
RB Dion Lewis - sucks and needs to leave.
RB Devonte Freeman - who cares
RB Wayne Gallman - would love to bring him back, but can't break the bank.
RB Alfred Morris - actually wouldn't mind bringing him back on vet minimum.
OT Cam Fleming - meh, should be the third OT, could go either way.

DE Leonard Williams - 3-4 DE - was very good this year after years of mediocrity, but makes a LOT of money.
DT Dalvin Tomlinson - Should make the Pro Bowl. Amazing NT.
DT Austin Johnson - Meh, okay reserve.
OLB Kyler Fackrell - If the price is right.
OLB Jabaal Sheard - depth starting due to injuries, need to upgrade
CB Ryan Lewis - I think they kind of like him as a reserve, but badly need to upgrade here.
S Nate Ebher - ST gunner who should never play in games because he is terrible.

I'm basically fine if they just bring back Gallman and Fackrell, and they probably can't bring back both Williams and Tomlinson because that would be an insane financial investment for a non-marquee position. They shouldn't have paid Logan Ryan even though he was good this year, which further ties their hands. No one else here really matters.

Obviously OLB is a huge need (where they get some decent injured players back, but need a playmaker), and need a CB after the Baker debacle, even if Sam Beal comes back from covid opt-out.

Wait this must be like when there were two Adrian Petersons right?

...and no it's actually that Alfred Morris. Holy poo poo. Well good for him, I assumed he'd been out of the league for 5 years.

Poona Ford, DT - the UDFA has been a fantastic run stopper and has slowly developed into an effective pass rusher. I hope Seattle keeps him.

He's a restricted free agent I think, so if they want to they can basically?

somebody will probably pay carl lawson better than the bengals will offer. this season he was a 20w lightbulb in a windowless basement. don't think anyone else is that noteworthy to point out as leaving or staying. much is clear. who they

I would love Carl Lawson in Tennessee but I suspect they’ll try to address our pass rush in the draft.
