speaking of Geass, I really liked the... what was it? OVA? Movie? they released a few years ago because it was just very fun to see the studio take all their toys out of storage to smash them together again. Very childish but in a fun way.

the best thing about Mushoku Tensei is that it's an isekai that actually feels like a real adventure story, with places to explores, different cultures, peoples and mindsets. Like usually in an isekai* the elements of the story are trope-y enough that just reading words like "the church" or "the adventurer's guild" mean that you immediately know what is going on because they always use the same (tired) concepts so often the exposition scene can be done in one page. In Mushoku you see "the beastfolk of the forest" or "that one demon tribe on that one island" and you think "hey they are neat I hope I get to learn more about them". ngl though the MC is loving scum (at first, he gets better) and I totally get it if he is too off putting for your personal taste though again I'd advise to try and power through. * I've read so much of that trash that I graduated to villainess isekai and it's also starting to get old.

we should at least all agree that while tsundere can be an overused trope, it's still a much more entertaining way to have characters interact than how everyone nowadays is written like a loving 1st year psychology student. entertaining : b-b-baka, I just did that because I took pity on you, don't misunderstand it! boring : wow I don't know how to process these conflictual emotions and to be honest it might be due to some profound trauma from my teenage years that prevents me from forming relationships that are meaningful, mindful and honest. this is not my opinion, it's the truth. anyway you guys waching Isekai Ojisan? it's pretty good

I'd also add "the saint's magic is omnipotent" or whatever the title was to the list of isekais people can actually watch. It was pretty comfy, all the characters are grown adults and the only criticisms to be made is that it's kind of a shame they take her glasses away early in the show, they looked good on her. I mean that and obviously it might not exactly be deeply enough in the immortal science of marxism leninism, but that's kind of was going to be a given with a shojo isekai that has princes in it. Which reminds me there's going to be another villainess isekai anime in the fall lineup and I will definitely watch that, inject that stuff directly into my veins, I literally follow like 20 of these on mangadex.

It's a high budget block buster that hired hundreds of people like no doubt at least one person did something lovely. Like one of the set designer's assistant has awful opinions about vaccines and the guy who wrote some of the CGI rendering optimization code for one of the 27 different CGI companies that worked on the movie has a waifu that is underage. oh and of course since it's hollywood like 95% of the execs get together on the weekends to shoot zoophilic snuff movies in Hitler's secret California bunker
