I imagine the more steps I use to hide what I'm doing, the more suspicious they would be, I'd become more likely to be scrutinized.

I doubt they care about occasional porn or anime or my nerdy as hell interests, but they may not like certain opinions I have.
I don't do social media anyway.

The thing is punishing "thought crimes" on the general population would tip their hand at how much they monitor and would piss off the whole USA.
