Patreon sounds like a decent idea. Patreon takes, what, 5%? In december, 8% of gross got wiped out from fees. SA probably gets loving fleeced on CC transactions, because each individual transaction is so small, and I doubt the forum has a particularly advantageous fee structure. Might be worth exploring something like "you can redtext one person per month at Tier Krust and two people per month at Tier Fiestacat" simply to disperse the fees if Patreon's are lower.
