About 15 years ago I started a job as an entry level engineer I had an internal meeting and all the old white management guys were dropping hard R slurs like it was nothing, really hosed up and shocking to me as a nerd straight out of university I was so happy to get out of alberta eventually, gently caress those guys

As for nowadays being a manager it’s loving crazy to me I have to hound guys to wear PPE, no I’m not making you wear a hard hat on site while the crane is lifting materials 35 stories over your head because I’m a hardass, I just don’t want you to die
