I don’t have any examples but I remember the bestiary in shadow hearts having really really gross descriptions for all the monsters/my mom getting so grossed out she considered not letting me play the game anymore as a child because of them

I really want more people to know about this thing waiting at the end of Zed Blade. It's some generic arcade shooter from 1994, completely forgettable in every way, but the final stage has this abrupt tonal shift and you get hit with this and it's like, gently caress. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjaKUM02ZtY&t=653s How do people even think of this stuff.
