I wouldn't want to try any that mix up burgers/chicken/fish, that just sounds bad with fast food quality. The mcmuffin/hash brown combo would probably be great, but it's literally just ordering a regular breakfast combo, smh.

I've seen specifically breakfast burgers with other breakfasty toppings a couple times in the states, but it's always in the tiniest niche diners.
And always in Colorado :thunk:

Speaking of Chicago dogs, I just realized that one of our burger joints makes them, and I got all excited to run over and grab one plus some cheese fries for lunch.

Turns out it's more of a Chicago-ish dog, it has toppings that are almost there, but not quite, and it never really tasted very distinctive. Plus, it's in this big piece of Texas Toast instead of a bun, so the bread and toppings overshadow the dog even more than normal. And the worst part, it's always a weirdly slow food place, but today they were dealing with new system issues too
A new record at 25 minutes for a fast food order, and it's a lukewarm, mediocre imitation. Eh.

At least the cheese fries were good.

How about this bad boy then, it sticks more closely to proper burg ratios. All you need is $9000 and to give the restaurant a few days' notice ahead of time (well, as of four years ago anyway)

If you ever want to amp up a cheese-forward pasta or other dish? Add mustard.

The Italians are wrong about alfredo purity

Definitely the best homemade mac & cheese recipes have some kind of mustard. Not even necessarily a whole lot, just enough to give it a nice little zing on top of the richness of the cheese.
