Seams posted:once a worker always a worker I forget who i heard it from but some wrestler talked about it in a shoot interview, la based wrestlers figured out that you could respond to casting calls from those trashy reality shows, they'd pay you for the day, and the producers didn't care if you were faking it as long as they could get a good episode out of you. wrestlers tend to look good on camera and know how to do in-character improvisation so it was an easy paycheck for them
