Gutentag Mein Raven

Holy poo poo I read that wall of text and you're in such a strangely similar position to me, right down to living in Seattle. Also I work in mental health, which...I don't touch computers as much. But right down to the massive pay increase and not being sure what to do. It's a good problem to have, but gently caress if I know what to do either. I'm mostly saving as much as possible, because I don't want to work a 40 hour week any longer than I have to...

edit: my partner and I own (mortgage) a tiny little home in South Seattle. I really, really believe (I'm not an expert) that getting into the market here is a good idea. We're basically San Francisco now. I can't see a home being a bad investment, unless we devolve into Mad Max world, in which case retirement plans are hosed anyway. At that point I'm just going to live out in the woods until the fires get me.
