Thread's moved on but the anxiety and autism exceptions for masks is funny because not having to appropriate human facial expressions combined with most people adjusting their personal space radius to my natural levels because of social distancing means this is probably the comfiest I've ever been in public. Obviously that stuff affects everyone differently but the huge disparity is interesting. I mostly use folks when addressing groups but fervently believe that anybody spelling it with an x should be treated with the utmost suspicion.

One of the replacement candidates sounds okay (2 time Corbyn leadership voter, self-described socialist) to the point where I'm kinda surprised they even allowed her to take their place. She is a former CPS business consultant and I guess Starmer's proof of what that can mean. Also almost perfectly shares a name with the allegedly corrupt former mayor which is fun. The other one's an Yvette Cooper/Owen Smith voter so I guess it's an easy choice.

My money's on Starmer losing in 2024 and staying on as leader regardless because the people currently in control of Labour's goal isn't winning, it's the preservation of politics as a career.
