Hey everyone! I saw some COVID vaccine info floating around the CE thread and on Discord, but didn’t want it to get lost in previous pages that nobody would see. Info is what I’ve seen posted here and on Discord. I’m in NC and able to get a shot from a number of places, and I figure that that is likely the case elsewhere too. I don’t really have the power to vet some of these (proceed at own risk) but if even one of you gets a vaccine appointment that wouldn’t have occurred until later, then it’ll have been worth it. On to the important parts: Walgreens covering a big pile of states: https://www.walgreens.com/topic/promotion/covid-vaccine.jsp#eligibility CVS, doing the same: https://www.cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine Walgreens says they update their appts every hour or so, unsure about CVS. Ingles: https://www.ingles-markets.com/pharmacy/pg1/pharmacy-sub/vaccinations Currently scheduling in AL, GA, NC, SC, TN, and VA. CA: iKon posted:If you’re enrolled in VA Healthcare in the greater Southern California area you can schedule a vaccine by calling 310-268-4900. No restrictions. CT: ghost story posted:This is what CT VA has - https://www.connecticut.va.gov/services/covid-19-vaccines.asp CO: fknlo posted:In Colorado Safeway and King Soopers(any of the Kroger stores) both have easy to make appointments. I've also heard about people calling places and giving their info in case there are any unused shots at the end of the day that are going to get thrown out and those people getting shots in this fashion. FL: https://www.publix.com/covid-vaccine iwentdoodie posted:If you're in the Tampa area and enrolled at Haley, give them a call ASAP if they haven't sent you a text. Shots are open and they're scheduling them fairly quickly from what I've seen and heard. Wonder Free posted:Just got a vaccine appointment next week at the Tampa VA. Anyone in that service area can get one regardless of age or medical issue as long as you are enrolled in VA health care. It took 5 minutes to do the enrollment application and about a day to process. Mr. Nice! posted:If you are signed up for VA care in the North Florida/South Georgia system, you do not need anything special to get a vaccine now. It is open for all veterans regardless of age. Nystral posted:Also in FL if you have an underlying condition with a form filled out by your doctor - here and then schedule an appointment or walk-in at various FLDOH locations. GA: https://www.publix.com/covid-vaccine MA: Rakekniven posted:If you're in Massachusetts and already enrolled in the VA, any age group can get vaccinated at Bedford. https://www.bedford.va.gov/services/covid-19-vaccines.asp NC: Icon Of Sin posted:In NC, you can sign up through Walgreens, CVS, or Novant Health (and maybe through the local Department of Health?). J/J’s vaccine just arrived, which expanded our options a ton. Icon Of Sin posted:As of yesterday, certain Harris Teeter pharmacies in NC are also offering COVID vaccines. Publix seems to be doing something similar in SC. quote:and I should also note that the NCARNG shots are being given to anyone regardless of the rollout phase NC is in. Wroughtirony posted:If you are a Tricare beneficiary anywhere in shot of Fort Bragg: This FB page has good details on how to get vaccinated https://www.facebook.com/ftbragg18abn They are vaccinating anyone over 16 and honestly there's a little bit of debate on whether or not you need to have an underlying condition, but I'm getting the impression they just want to get shots into arms, so if you're willing to do the screening and make an appointment, you're probably good. https://informatics-stage.health.mil/COVAX/ is the site to make an appointment. Currently they're calling beneficiaries and telling them to come in and not everyone they're calling has an underlying condition, so get it while the getting is good! The more of us they can vaccinate, the better for all of us! ND: Naramyth posted:The Medicine Shoppe pharmacy chain in ND has been having some supply glut. They now have a signup page so if you are in driving distance go sign up so you can go get the shot. OK: PA: Pine Cone Jones posted:I know a few other people are in PA, but the VA here has opened vaccines to all veterans who receive care through the system. I signed up on the VA website for updates on the vaccine sometime in Feb and got a text a few weeks back about being able to now schedule an appointment. I had my first shot of the Moderna vaccine Thursday. I did have to call the VA in Lancaster, as they have a Covid hotline, to set up my appointment, but that was it. I'm not entirely sure if its the same in other regions, but hopefully this is somewhat helpful. SC: https://www.publix.com/covid-vaccine shame on an IGA posted:South Carolina is hellaciously decentralized and the daily allocation spreadsheets are the best way to find a list of all the places that have ever offered the vaccine. Frustratingly, the different vaccines are tracked on different sheets but my advice if you can't get it from the VA is to go down the list of Moderna sites, they're the smaller less known providers like local clinics and pharmacies whereas the Pfizer is mostly being distributed to large hospitals that already have phones ringing off the hook. TN: crazyivan45 posted:Memphis and surrounding areas: this clinic received a large batch of J&J vaccines and appointments are open to the public. Only requirement is that you be 18+. Several friends have gotten theirs, I’m scheduled for Monday. Call to make appointment TX: Discussion Quorum posted:For TX folks, HEB lets you check the entire state at once and it seems to update continuously. If you're going to poopsock and , it's probably the easiest option. WA: UP THE BUM NO BABY posted:The Puget Sound VA is offering COVID vaccines to all veterans enrolled with them. WI: WEH posted:Wisconsin is opening up eligibility to everyone over 16 with complicating health conditions on March 29th, and will not be requiring documentation to prove eligibility. WEH posted:A little late on this, but Wisconsin is opening eligibility to everyone over 16 starting April 5th. Note: I keep hearing about people getting “leftovers”, aka going to a distro site near their closing time and trying to grab a shot that would’ve gone to someone else, except that that person missed/canceled/didn’t show up to their appt for whatever reason. Other goons have noticed this in their local pharmacies as well, so I don’t think it’s unique to NC. I’ll edit into this post any info that anyone drops in this thread, the CE thread, or the Discord. Good luck out there, and stay safe. e1: 6Mar e2: 22Mar. Icon Of Sin fucked around with this message at 11:27 on Apr 3, 2021 |

Also in SC, the article I found about Harris Teeters in NC giving out shots mentions that Publix in SC is doing something similar, at least in limited locations (close to Charlotte, NC at last look). E: keep the info coming, I’m going to try and update the OP once a day-ish. Icon Of Sin fucked around with this message at 16:19 on Mar 6, 2021 |

I was completely floored for a day after my shot, with fever/chills/nausea, then woke up 2 days later like it had never happened. It was definitely in the “bad hangover” level of discomfort, but disappeared completely within ~36hrs. Neither of my brothers got any side effects, so apparently I got to have everybody’s

If they didn’t do a “let’s go shot for shot” campaign involving tequila and a vaccine, then someone failed spectacularly 🧐

I had j/j to start, and got a Pfizer booster. J/j rocked my loving world, but the Pfizer booster just gave me a sore arm.

crazyivan45 posted:I got the J&J in March and the phizer booster about 2 weeks ago. Didn’t have any issues with the initial JJ but the phizer booster gave me most of the symptoms of a mild flu the day after. Was back to feeling normal within 48 hours. I’d 1000% do it again but wanted to relay a report of mixing JJ with Phizer (do it or the Moderna) This is almost the inverse of what I got, side-effects wise. I had j/j back in March and it loving floored me for a day, then got the Pfizer booster last week and came away with not much more than a sore arm. The 5G slut-juice affects us all differently, I suppose.
