agreed. that was the moment i realized they could arbitrarily decide to start loving with me and all interactions with them started with defensive thinking first and foremost. same thing happened to me with facebook in the very early days when they would add new privacy features that superceded older ones defaulting to settings which would override your previous choices. i deleted my account a few years after that
