It is but they announced they are going to focus more on their actual viewership: old people.

They all got cancelled a year or two ago so they could give money to LIV golf and ACC college football instead

Given how the last 12 months have gone at the box office and critically, they were actually ahead of the curve on the "nobody wants to watch comics stuff anymore" part of that move, so. Can't say it was entirely a bad call there

The CW's current slate of programming is mostly... not new programming, as best as I can tell? They only put out two hours a night. Things actually premiering on the CW in bold

Sunday
- Sullivan's Crossing, a rebroadcast of a CBC drama
- The Chosen, a show about the life of Jesus that started on a Christian streaming service, was on Netflix for a bit, and is now being rebroadcast on the CW
- World's Funniest Animals, a clip show of animal bloopers

Monday
- F Boy Island, the reality dating competition show which appears to be producing original episodes on the CW but they're also rebroadcasting the first two seasons from HBO MAX
- Penn & Teller: Fool Us, a reality magician competition show which was originally produced by ITV but the CW picked it up after it was canceled and are producing new episodes[/b]

Tuesday
- Inside the NFL, a news magazine about football previously canceled by HBO, Showtime, and Paramount+
- The Swarm, a German sci-fi series that CW picked up the rights to re-run, then re-runs of Whose Line Is It, Anyway when they run out of Swarm episodes

Wednesday
- Sullivan's Crossing again
- The Spencer Sisters, another Canadian drama they bought the rights to re-run

Thursday
- Son of a Critch, this time it's a Canadian sitcom
- Run the Burbs, yet another Canadian sitcom
- Children Ruin Everything, a third Canadian sitcom
- Everyone Else Burns, a British sitcom

Friday
- Another episode of Penn & Teller: Fool Us
- Masters of Illusion, a Christian magic show hosted by Dean Cain
- Another episode of World's Funniest Animals

Saturday
- A college football game

I know CW is a network and everything, but it's hard to find any original/'original' programming that they broadcast in the past few years that averaged over 500,000 viewers an episode outside of some of those recently canceled superhero shows. It is definitely a step up from late stage TNA/Impact being on the TV Guide channel between Saved by the Bell marathons or whatever, but it's still well behind the packages WWE and AEW have.

"a Christian magic show". Because of course such a thing exists.

I'm guessing it's a normal magic show except after every trick the guy who used to be Superman tells you that it's devil worship and you should just read the bible

Watching as much of some clips as I could muster, the show does not appear to be explicitly Christian, but started life on the PAX Channel and is aggressively Family Friendly and Wholesome, except for when the magicians have sexy assistants but that is a pretty standard hall pass for Christian programming. They're all nice white ladies wearing garters, don't worry!

There is but I think it's more likely they are getting a marginal amount of money. If MLW didn't get that slot on Reelz this would be the funniest deal of the year.

It was stated some time ago that CW lost a buttload of money producing all those superhero shows and such and has had to cancel a lot of their original shows because the debts just got too big.
I guess NWA is a relatively cheap replacement?

CBS/Warner sold CW to Nexstar Media last year. Nexstar's model is cheap programming at all costs (they turned WGN America into an all news format), so if NWA aren't paying, it's likely a revenue split.

The CG and green screening in those shows were among some of the worst I've ever seen so I'm not sure exactly where they spent all that money
