Dicky Doo & the Don'ts, despite being as influential as Kraftwerk, have hands down one of the crappiest, most embarrassing band names I've ever heard. It makes their contributions to popular music hard to take seriously.

Much like Pearl Jam, I feel like Arctic Monkeys are in that bracket of band that have a godawful name that you've heard so many times that it's lost all sense of meaning. I know AM were formed while the band members were all still teens, and their name definitely has that air of "we brainstormed this at our very first practice session and suddenly got too famous of change it"
