 Happy Birthday, LP!The archives alone have been a constant source of entertainment for years, and it's been a rather good bit of fun to be here now. It's also very cool to see the ones that never made it to the archive or were struck by the curse partway through. I honestly don't remember the first SSLP I ever read, I think it was Chokes' SaGa ones, that or Hippoman's one for New Mystery of the Emblem. (RIP for the RF2 LP, I'd resurrect that one if I could.)

Recalling that I found SALP via this post that linked to the LP archive of the time but only ended up on the forum coincidentally a few days after the LP subforum was created. Saved me from ever having to navigate the Games forum, so probably the ideal timing.

Yeah, I'll admit to going back and re-reading Nakar's Ultima LPs multiple times - especially the Ultima 7 ones. Absolute classics. (The games and the LPs.)

A different time, a different name, 2007 was. I came on right at the tail end of that year, having lurked since just before 9/11. I only ever had ideas for LPs, participated in discussions, and invitations to play together/thread input. Never made one, and can't  hard enough to make it quality. I'll leave it to the experts. The one big LP event I remember being active during was orenoren's translation of Danganronpa, which was so popular it put the LP forum into near permanent sub-only mode for its duration and had people dedicated to reposting updates offsite so it could be followed by non-members.

Being able to keep up with Elentor's Final Fantasy VII LP was one of the big reasons I finally decided to register here; I can understand the desire to do something like this for non-members.
