My immediate thought on the ending is that it's a total fakeout and it'll just be from some movie that they're starring in. Also while it was a great concert and I teared up I was really hoping Tae would sing just one word perfectly and loving stun the whole stadium.

I was watching the finale with a friend and talking about how this season was a little more like an idol anime--but it's still distinctly Zombieland Saga and I think they pulled it off.

Tae's joy when she realises the people are copying her noises is delightful. No matter what spinoff comics may reveal, it is my headcanon that Tae is not in fact zombie-brained, but enlightened. She is beyond base considerations, and the universe provides for her needs, and steers her where she needs to be. It is now her duty to teach others by example. She no longer speaks, for mortal minds cannot handle the Truth in her words.

I do kinda like the idea that the apparent curse was so utterly bested by our Zombie Idols it had to resort to what we saw in the post scene. Curse: You want to play hardball Saga? Fine!

I really enjoyed what a pleasant surprise this show was. A quality mix of humour and character development. The two flashback episodes in S2 were impressive too. I love Franchouchou's music, is there anything else like it? REVENGE and 激昂サバイブ are bangers, as are アツクナレ, 輝いて and 特攻DANCE ～DAWN OF THE BAD～as well as the two OPs, in particular.

Yeah tourism went way up to saga first season so hopefully the numbers will reflect that for this season even though they didn't have as many local attractions featured.

I feel like other than Kotaro coughing up blood at the end they wrapped up the girls story pretty well, and you can ignore the stinger, since if you take it out it doesn't affect anything. Not that I don't want there to be a third season, but I'm afraid that the quality of the show may go down. By the way, isn't COVID-19 loving up travel in Japan between prefectures?

I have no clue, but considering the first dub was airing concurrently with the simulcast (not quite simul, but) and skipped dubbing the songs, only for the home video version to come out later with dubbed songs, it might take a while

Has there been any scanlation group that's been interested in picking up Gaiden? There was a new chapter this month that revealed more about Tae. Spoilers obviously, but the chapter revealed that: Tae's parents were killed by Sagako Tae was adopted by Jofuku, AKA the Bartender Tae works for a buger stall owned by Jofuku, and that the bus IS her office
