I remember a post or article about a group of Georgian nihilists. They would just hang out together and drink in silence, there were strict rules of etiquette about not caring and sometimes they'd get into fights, maybe because someone cared about something. Seems weird since that also shouldn't matter but that was how they lived. That paper wasn't the one I was thinking of as it turns out, it's very recent. It must have been a podcast from zerobooks about on a book by the same guy who wrote that article. In the article he revisits one guy he met the first time, it's pretty fun to read. They're mostly just really bored and have no reason to believe in a future so they don't care.
