I don't think it's a retirement thing, however who knows if we'll get another Phish fest in 5 years.

I read they partnered with AEG who puts on Firefly, so it makes sense they'd just use their own festival grounds and infrastructure.

AEG is the promo company that does the Labor Day runs in Colorado for the past ten years as well, they are longtime partners/friends

What a lovely fall tour. Hit Dayton and Chicago (my home base). Managed to ride the rail with my crew on Friday the 13th for a friend's birthday. If you saw some Gritty heads, that was us.

We did Nashville! Chicago N1 is my favorite tape with Nashville N2 in a close second

Oh I def saw y'all on the livestream.

I think Chicago N1 was my favorite of the run, but that Oblivion->Melt from N2 was probably my favorite 25 minutes of music

The Fukuoka Japan livephish release is great for the spacey '00 sound. Twist is the highlight for sure.

They can only play official releases and it's one of the strongest ones!

I hate the DJs on Phish Radio so much. Especially Ari. It's so cringey.

as much as I hate on the Phish Radio Station™ I do love that they have made "the bunny" a 365/7 thing.

for the uninitiated, "The Bunny" was always the FM radio station that they would broadcast at the festival. You would bring your tent, your flashlight, and a FM radio to hear what was going on.

the radio station keeps this going in the spirit of "the festival in our mind":

last broadcast was really good. I have a lot more of these saved..

I love it and it's still super cool. But I don't feel like I missed out. It's definitely got as many old school vibes as "treys times square matcha cafe friends" vibes but hey that's alright.

I like this a lot more from the run. This song and jam are awesome.

Nope. It’s been in pretty heavy rotation in 2023. Debuted in 21, shelved from deer creek 22 until Huntsville 23 and has been a staple since. It’s a really good song.
