This show turned out to be exactly what I hoped for at first glance, so I'm pretty pleased with it I don't know what it is about cute talking animals and gritty urban drama. But it's a winning formula.

I feel like that was a better exploration of addictive personality types and gambling problems than... basically anything in fiction I've encountered before? Granted, I'm not the world's most read individual, but it struck me as a better demonstration of "Oh, so this is what goes on in their heads" than most movies

I don't know why but I sorta like Dobu, he's a dirtbag but he's a dirtbag with relatable problems since he's being hassled by his even-worse competitor at work and has an online hate mob after him, headed up by rando who's trying to self-promote by selling fake righteousness It also helps that Tanaka is out there putting people in danger because of his chaotic self destructive spiral.
