The bridge still scares the poo poo out of me. 150mph, unprotected metal struts, the fairly serious danger of landing in oncoming traffic...

Yep, it'll be "No-one could have seen this coming".

Yeah, although in Super Formula's equivilent of Foyt to be fair.

Calderon though is pretty simple. She's an excellent racing driver and one actually doing it because she likes racing at that (unlike say, Carman Jorda) but her talents top out around LMP2, she should not have been given GP2, SF or Indycar drives.

It's going away from Belle Isle because I guess NIMBYS were upset they lost a week or two of access to the island over the course of the whole year?

yes, clearly these are two balanced things.

honestly wouldn't be surprised if Max Chilton wasn't looking to take his money elsewhere, this seems like the time to go sports car racing instead. and without Chilton I doubt Carlin sticks around as an independent organization.

It's not just his sponsor money, the Chilton family essentially own Carlin and have done since they finished loving up the other British team they bought.

Although to be honest she'll be one of the worst drivers in the series, in probably the worst equipment.

On speed she's racing Kellet if she's lucky.

Basically. If that given JJ now has a year's experience and Ganassi hardware and Kellet has nearly 2 years on her in the car.
