"Hasta ver la luz" can be interpreted a number of ways and while "Until I see the light" is a close enough translation, it's not necessarily the only correct one, especially since it's not referring to one person/a group of people in particular.

It might also be a reference to a Portuguese 2013 film of the same name which kinda has me worried for our buddy Joe. :ohdear:
