 As of a few moments ago, pretty sure I'm finished recording all the footage for this LP. This third playthrough will cover everything, with my generous blending of the second playthrough's recorded content as I feel appropriate, up to the final Alchemyriddle riddle, which is like 10 minutes before the final boss. After that it'll entirely be the post-game content of the prior playthrough.Overall this third playthrough ended up just around 40 hours I think. Not too shabby, once you know what you're doing and how to make the things you want. And a maxed out bank account so I don't have to grind for money.

I think Piana tailed the party back when Rorona and Pamela trolled Totori when opening the tower and liked what she saw. I don't know why, but I really like Chim Dragon calling Lulua nano master. Mimi. Best girl. "Flattery will get you nowhere, now do you want to go out to eat? My treat". Never change.  Totori, just ask Mimi out. Can someone give her a tsundere to Japanese dictionary? Or hit both with the clue-hammer 3000?(Alternative reading, quoting the SpyxFamily thread: kiss your goddamn wife, Mimi) We have a little explosive maniac on our hands here  Although I have to agree with Totori and Piana, Lulua is relying to much on the Alchemyriddle.

I think the best alchemist weapon in the series is from a non-main character --- Jessica in Mana Khemia --- whose weapons are bags (full of bombs). Of course, the main character's weapon there was ... a cat.

I also don't know how much I like this plot development honestly, it might have been better to have these storylines run concurrently so while Lulua could not open Fellgalaxen's door she was getting stronger by doing the thing with Punis and the other stuff around the kingdom. It would also also help drive the point home about how busy alchemists are and how they have to keep multiple plates in the air. I can see why Eva likes Lulua, she likes bazookas, Lulua likes explosives, natural fit really. TBF the cat transforms into a badass claw-and-sword which everyone in Vayne's party thought looked cool as gently caress.

I still like my theory that the reason no one is ever mean or negative to an alchemist or their entourage is that they know that these people are absolutely terrifying! Besides wielding knowledge and tools of a field of magic that defies reality, they take down dragons, demons, and Gods with barely a scratch. It's like that Twilight zone episode with Ron Howard as a young boy..

Jess's bag is the Luggage's cousin, one of her attacks is having the bag eat an enemy and at a point Vayne needed to speak to what's his name (Muppy?) and Jess simply rummages through her bag and takes him out of it from the other side of the campus. He's extremely confused about the experience and remembers only a giant hand grabbing him out of nowhere. (Mana Khemia spoilers) The MC's weapon was actually Vayne himself, that's why everyone else's weapons are something they equip but Vayne's weapons are instead equipment for Sulphur.

So far as I can tell, Quality has absolutely no effect on Exploration Tools, which the Tonic is one of. The highest-quality materials you can gather are all in the 200-230 Quality range. For everything else, you gotta put in the effort as you see fit. I'm pretty sure Quality also doesn't affect weapons / armor / accessories at all, but there's all kinds of weird stats in Atelier games about what Quality does and doesn't affect.
