I can understand a story without having to know what things in it look like. In fact, it sounds like this person can visualise things, but just isn't for some reason when they read a book?

I've asked many questions of the years that lead me to a place thinking he has very little imagination, like he is not creative in general at all. he's very competent, more so than most kids, at tasks that require execution or memory. anyway i'll leave the convo int he parenting thread
