Returnal looks alright going by streams, but I think you'd feel a lot better playing it by getting it on sale some time in the future. The pacing and level design is pretty bad, and the backtracking is at least fairly annoying to someone like myself. Release MSRP is so nuts for PS5 games now that I'd really be dying to play a game to get it at that.

I was bummed I didn't have a new GPU to play RE Village, but the engine was so good that i can still run the demo at max 1080p settings on a 1070 and never drop below 70. Most of the time it's around 90. Indoors, it's well beyond 100. Guess I can live without the global illumination.
