the scifi network was initially pretty excited about the whole thing but seemed absolutely crushed by my refusal to entertain the notion of a laser horse dick. it's a matter of verisimilitude, I kept telling them; horses simply can't aim their dicks precisely enough to make a weapon like that feasible.
