Also I think kebabs overall seem to have gotten worse over the last two decades where I live. Back in the early 2000s the meat in the döners seemed better, sorta more real and crumbly than todays slices of meat which seem like they hold together like a singular piece of meat. I dunno what happened but that kind of döner meat seems to have disappeared in favor of this style which has more of a factory produced feel.

Kebabsås is different where you are in the country. Some cities have never seen the red sauce, some mix the white and red together or use both.
