When the Alphas are attacking then in the hallways by the vault there seems like one zombie has glowing blue eyes? But the biggest robot zombie thing is when Guzman is killing zombies on the casino floor, he shoots one in the face and it falls and you can see a metal skeleton or something and sparks I think. It's legit intriguing.

This is exactly what you should liter a sci-fi movie with, just tons of weird things that pop out to get you interested in the world. it's like having the weird aliens in the cantina you just get a glimpse of. I think there's something super neat about the questions it raises to keep the viewer engaged after the film's end. did the army do cyborg experiments, or is there a forced alien evolution virus that makes some zombies to get bio-metal skeletons? at the end of the day, its better you don't get an unsatisfying explanation in the movie when it doesn't need it.

if you are watching a zombie movie and get pissed off about teleporting zombies, that's absolutely a "you" problem. it's like the guys getting really mad that the zombie tiger should not be able to roar based off it's condition.
