it�s cool because people send her all sorts of stuff including displays and old manufacturer literature. sometimes she even hears from the people that actually designed and made the stuff back in the day.

In Photoshop, at least, there are some default brushes that you can use to "paint" dust and scratches into the material like I have done above to give it a bit of a dated look.

also tons of really great third party brushes textures etc for all these apps that work really well
