I watch SNL every week and some skits are funny and some aren't, just like it's always been from the beginning. It's never been just wall to wall bangers like I Think You Should Leave. Heidi Gardner, Sarah Sherman, and Bowen Yang are really funny most of the time.

There’s just too many people. I’m ok with lots of new people because everyone takes time to get their niche and everyone was an unknown cast member at some point but cap it at like 8/9 tops.

But this is SNL's 50th year and also Lorne's last year, so if there's ever a time to crash and burn this would be it.
