Just remember it's a marathon, not a sprint! You don't have to get everything done this minute, and until the supply chain settles out a bit more, something like the deck or replacing functioning appliances can wait. Hutla has the right idea, especially with plants. I did railing planters of herbs, and I feel pretty great about the mint (endless juleps!) but the thyme chose to suicide pretty abruptly. We don't use thyme as much so I haven't bothered buying/growing more.
