I very much sympathise with the anxiety of home ownership. Having your own place gets built up as this huge, freeing event, but it's also a massive liability and can feel terrifying. I think you're doing a really good thing by posting it all out like this. The more you accomplish, hopefully the more reassured you will be about your ability to resist future poo poo that happens, as well as having a really cool record of your progress. Your efforts are also going to have a huge transformative effect - they already have - so think of all the value your labour is bringing. Well done! Keep posting!

One time my wife and I were both mad with each other because each thought the other was eating all our secret stash of chocolate and it turned out a huge rat was climbing up the inside of our fitted cupboards and gnawing on it all
