Starting reading this and really binged through it in one sitting. Huge fan of the art and the relationship between the two protags is really charming, even in such early stages. I look forward to seeing how this develops. Jesus that last chapter was really a turn though.

Very great how quickly everyone calls each other turds in this series. They're all turds in my heart  The bit with Okarun trying to make right to Grandma behind the scenes is very good.

There is a lot of super fun imagery, all out of what is basically just a small side diversion in what's going on. And it could have so easily kept the setting at the school. Every double-page spread is a joy and it is unreal that every chapter has at least one or two of them.

Good news: the physical volume 1 just came out this week! Or last, but my copy just came in. Bad news: there seems to be a printing error that has caused the last two pages of Chapter 4 to show up after the end of Chapter 5. Not the weirdest print error I've seen, but my copy has it and I've seen at least a couple other people mention it as well. Wonder if anyone here can corroborate.
