If were doing entire orgs then we cant not talk about this forums love of Oplot. Oplot being a Ukrainian mma outfit which was in a strip club with hilariously out of date pro-Soviet leanings. It was a drunken joke to kill time and even some UFC fighters fought in Oplot. And then Russia invaded and Oplot literally became a paramilitary fascist group in support of Russia who have committed literal war crimes including murder, torture and war rape. They are currently wanted for crimes against humanity. Yeah it kind of taught a lot about imaging isnt a joke.

CommonShore posted:When Bendo wrestled Thatch the general reaction was "woah welterweight Bendo is gonna be sick" when in reality it turned out that welterweight Bendo was extremely sad and Thatch was even sadder. Bendo's entire career could fit here given before he was champion he was one if the most beloved fighters here, won the belt in very iffy circumstances, all but one of his defences were extremely iffy decisions, with the crowd booing him decided to spend an entire post fight denying a tooth pick existed, proposed in the ring to the loudest boos you have ever heard... and then just fell apart after Pettis choked him to death so suddenly the fams didnt even react because it was so sudden they didnt know the fight was over. What a strange career.

Tony Bonello was going to link his wikipedia but they wised up and delted it (also he spent most of his time editing it himself) notoriously the only guy to lose to the bull on Bully Beatdown his wiki accomplishments were about a dozen silver medals in BJJ tournaments, but when checking the sources he was secon in a weight class of only two entrants every time.

Chris Lytle also has the honour of having never lost a fight in his total career by giving up. He has 18 losses, 16 of which were decisions and the other two were TKOs by Doctor Stoppage so someone else made the call that wasnt him or the ref. So in his entire MMA career of 54 fights he never once got knocked out or submitted.
