Well hooray hooray, I got my first shot. I'm honestly shocked. As a millennial essential worker I sort of assumed I wouldn't have it until, you know, October or something. They've got the clinic set up in the basement of Jackson Square in the bowels of Copps Colosseum and it's very quick. I'm quite impressed! Oh my God I have full bars on my phone even though I'm in the basement of the mall, my crazy Qultist co-worker was right!!

Is anyone else finding that the provincial vaccine booking system isn't letting you book your second shot until September? I'm in a hotspot area and nothing on their site seems to have changed.

Not through the provincial booking system? Because said system clearly states that as of June 23 "People who received their first dose on or before May 30 and live in Durham, Halton, Hamilton, Peel, Porcupine, Simcoe-Muskoka, Toronto, Waterloo, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph or York public health units" can book their second shot. I try and lo and behold it says I'm not allowed to rebook until mid-September. Did the known criminal Doug Ford lie? I for one am absolutely shocked, shocked!

At this point the unvaccinated are deliberately choosing to be unvaccinated and I for one am sick and tired of people saying that these idiots just need to be reached out to and made to understand that the vaccine is safe. Here's the thing: they don't care, because they're brain-addled morons who are actively making things worse for everyone else and are thriving on the negative attention. No actual argument in favour of vaccination or masking will work on these people. Empathy and understanding are wasted on them and we as a society need to stop catering to their bullshit because it is killing people and will continue to do so until these dumbasses are vaccinated or dead.
