 Yeah yeah I know don't live in the desert. I will say having grown up in East Tennessee I actually do prefer the dry heat even if it is super hot. Your sweat actually evaporates and doesn't stick to your skin. Today I guess there's also a fire somewhere because it's also smoky. Good times.

I'd rather deal with 120 degree heat than an ice storm, for example, and its dry enough that even the gimmicky USB evaporative coolers from Amazon will be effective.

I'm going to Scottsdale AZ for a work conference in one of those lovely hotels right next to the airport. It's projected to be about 110 every day. How many times do you think I'm going to hear "geez sure is hot here" from all the other dorks at this place?
