Weirdly I think I ran into the problem with Jun / Harashima that some people do with, say, The Young Bucks. Namely that I couldn't suspend my disbelief at all.

In the same way that some people dismissively say that the Bucks are just Doing Moves, it felt like Jun and Harashima were just Doing Wrestling.

So did the ref have to break up that hold because Mutoh was being vicious or because Mutoh was stuck?

I really dug the fakeout on Mutoh looking like he was setting to kick out at 1 or an early 2.... then just his legs crumpling back down.

If Mutoh needed a gold watch reign, he's had it now. So let's see the scrappy young 41 year old upstart run with it.

He needs to keep it safe from young reckless rookies like Go Shiozaki trying to get their hands on it.

Counting the pre-show, this was like 6 hours long, right? While it certainly didn't feel short, it sure as hell didn't feel that long either.

Yeah, Wrestle Universe is great value and even though they don't do as many of their shows live as I'd like, I'm super happy with my membership.
