Did they mention anything about a new Sylvaneth book, or just the model reveals? My wife is thinking of jumping in with them, but I’ve heard the army just isn’t very good right now.

The nice thing about Gravelords is that you can go all in on a horde of 120 zombies, make it a more elite army with Blood Knights and some of the big centerpiece models, or anything in between. It's a really flexible book that will let you build an army that suits your particular play style.

If I'm looking for stuff in the GW web store, is there a difference between "Temporarily Out of Stock Online", and " No Longer Available Online?" I'm looking for Gravelords stuff, so I'm wondering if stuff got pulled for new packaging, since there's a new book coming out in the next few weeks.

There's an article about the Ossiarch Bonereapers on Warhammer Community that says that book goes up for pre-order next week, so hopefully the Gravelords book goes up at the same time.

I got my first learning game in today. My Gravelords against a friend’s Fyreslayers. We played at 1000 points on a small board and it did not go well for the legions of Nagash. My list wasn’t good to begin with and I just could not get any damage through. There’s a pile of rules to remember, and I’m sure we missed stuff. Still, it was fun to push our War Barbies around a table and roll dice. Looking forward to the new book, although I’m not sold on the Vanguard box. Are the cards worth buying?

My Soulblight list, which isn't even close to a "Meta" list went up for 100 points or so. My Friend's Fyreslayers went up to where his list is 40 over now. Because obviously, they were just too good.

Question about the latest GHB. I only get the Andtorian Locus benefit on a non-unique Hero Wizard that is 9 wounds or less, and if I have any wizards at all, I can't take the Nullstone Adornments enhancement. So worst case is really only having Wizards of over 9 wounds right? If I'm going to have Wizard characters I might as well try and shoehorn an Andtorian Locus in?

You can build an all Troggoths list in Gitz as well, ending up with a dozen models or so. There’s a also a March of the Ents list in Sylvaneth, with a bunch of Treelords.

I went from vampires to angry trees and bugs. I do not regret my decision at all. The only downside is I’m just barely at 2000 points and don’t have any of the models for this new army of renown. I thought about also building a StD army but I think I’m all in on Sylvaneth with this release.

Friend and I attempted our first actual full A0S game last night. We only managed a couple of rounds before it got late and we called it quits, but it was still a good time. Looking at rules today we missed a lot of stuff, but that's ok. Couple of questions about the General's Handbook. It says any terrain piece that doesn't have a warscroll is supposed to get a roll on the mysterious terrain table. So everything on the table gets an extra rule? That seems like a pain to keep track of. Also, we can only choose Grand Strategies and Battle Tactics from the GHB right? No using the ones in your army book?
