Gave it another chance later. Glad I did. Planescape: Torment is now one of my favourite games I ever read.

i think pretty much all isometric CRPGs are boring and slow and have completely failed to get into any of them, even classics like baldurs gate, but tried divinity 2 for some reason and absolutely loved it and put like 100 hrs into it.

thought something had changed so i tried pillars 2 and nope, still can't get into these games. i have no idea why divinity 2 is so good
