I've been involved in a number of cults, both as a leader and a follower.

You have more fun as a follower. But you make more money as a leader.


 Aleister Black lore was bad because we only saw him sit in a room but he never got to actually go kick people in the face.

Malachi Black lore is better because we immediately saw him kick two people in the face.

As long as he gets to kick people on a semi regularly basis, he can justify it with as much silly lore as he wants.
