I think those ultimate attacks for when Groove hits 100% is dependent on the element of the pin that boosted it to 100%. So if you activate it with Fret using the Pyrokinesis pin, you get the giant meteor, but if you activate it with Rindo using Force Rounds you get the rain of spikey energy thingies.

I guess the one thing I'm worried about this game lacking is it's predecessor's thematic depth. Like, on the surface, the original The World Ends With You was an interesting urban fantasy story that was pretty lean and tight, all things considered. But like, TWEWY, for all it's setting is interesting and mysterious, isn't really about the UG, or the Reapers and their game. It's about Neku's growing out of his immature, self-absorbed loner mindset, and opening his world to others. And this one, from what I've seen, is leaning more into being about the actual mechanics of the UG and Reapers? I'm not saying that it's a bad choice or that NEO won't be good and fun, just that I wonder if the devs were kind of missing the point about what made the original's story so good. I could be wrong, though.

I'm continually impressed by how well they managed to make the usages of modern slang not sound awful. I could totally imagine a worse version of this story and characters where Fret used words like "Yeet" and "thot" and "twerk" and so forth way too much, but no, they keep it restrained.

You know it's honestly kind of shocking how the "Extra voices" section of the credits is full of people who'd normally be the main cast in a game like this-Robbie Daymond, Zach Aguilar, Kaiji Tang, Johnny Yong Bosch, Greg Chun, Erika Harlacher, Kira Buckland, Cristina Vee-but aside from Griffin Burns as Fret, Xanthe Huynh as Kanon and Xander Mobus as Kubo, all of the main cast seem to be relative newcomers, or returning from the first game's VAs, none of whom were big name dub stars like the people I listed

So I saw that recently ALI started reuploading some of their songs (Lost In Paradise, specifically, the Jujutsu Kaisen ED) after the whole thing with their drummer blew over/got resolved (not sure tho) and it made me wonder if we have or are going to get an official version of Teenage City Riot
