Ironically, it seems like the time off has helped TJ's ability to wear a shot. Actually, that could also just be the fact that he's not darting into shots like he used to. That's kind of funny.

TJ looking a shitload better, I thought he was close to being dropped & finished any second in r2

I guess getting wounded gave Dillashaw a Zenkai boost because he literally went Super Saiyan this round

TJ has landed a couple strikes while clinching, but you can't score any of this grappling for him, right?

That series of fake level changes into a leg kick in round 3 from tj was pretty sick.

Well I’m not a huge fan of TJ but he definitely earned this. Even with the dirty cage grab poo poo

Incredible that fighting against someone coming back from EPO Sandhagen, a guy notorious for building his striking game through committed body punching threw like three clean hooks to the body? He hurt TJ like everytime he did it too and just never kept doing it.

TJ gets this one imo, main event delivered

That's a good call actually now that you mention it. And weirdly cory's kicking game devolved into a few spinning wheels kicks and notmuch else

I think landing so many big shots early suckered Sandhagen into going off his game and chasing big hits and by the time he needed to re-establish his usual build-up and attritional stuff it was too late and he was slowing down.

Yeah no, this was a clear TJ win imo. Sandgahen did very well at first but then just did weird spiny athletics and gave up his back 5000 times
