Felt comfy enough to jump up while I was sitting just a few feet away. Then another roadrunner came by and this one ran off and they tussled a bit, but I unfortunately couldn't get a picture

Any idea what these might be? In Seattle and there's a ton of them. Assume they're migratory. Gray or black feathers and yellow beaks

They have a really neat low pitched cry but my phone can't really capture it

My parents like to leave out peanuts for the local native squirrel species, Douglas Squirrels, which are far smaller and far cuter than the more common eastern gray squirrels.
