Dinosaurs are directly related to turtles!
Any idea what kind of caterpillar this is? I'm in the South UK and found it on a lavender plant.

Found this cool female stag beetle in the garden, I know they are in the area but first time I've found one in the garden, was very excited when I found it!

Holly blue butterfly.



Just teasing the spectacular blue of the topside of its wings here, was too busy feeding and I couldn't get any pics of the topside unfortunately. First time I've managed to get some decent pics of one though, I've seen them round the garden plenty of times before but they don't sit still for long.
