I have started collecting shells and other types of stuff from the beach - Beach glass, shark teeth, coral, etc. It's strangely fun looking for stuff at the beach. We occasionally take ferries out to barrier islands because the shelling is better there. I would not have thought a year ago that this would be a hobby of mine.

I’m the one goon that still buys physical media, notably Blu-rays. I don’t really collect them, but I likes what I likes and try and stick with the good boutique releases. Just recently, I picked up Shocker, The People Under the Stairs, The Serpent and the Rainbow, Night of the Comet, Tales From the Darkside: The Movie, Creepshow 2, An American Werewolf in London, Re-Animator, Dungeonmaster/Eliminators, and TerrorVision/The Video Dead from Scream Factory and Arrow Video. I loves me some great ‘80s and ‘90s horror and B-movie schlock.

I have a good assortment of Eeyores, because everything likes to think of me as him. and i have a stupid sad morose voice when non-medicated, or tired. Or just feel like it lol But Eeyore is still my boy, I'd love to hang with him. I thought of getting some sort of tattoo of him, but I'd want it to be original. it could go with my tribals, I have. lol, the 90's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMDAY8H5yIw

My hoard is starting to make me rethink things and I'm very ready to do something about it. The problem is paring things down, like it's hard to make a decision about what tape decks to keep when there's the choice between single decks, a dual deck, and a very rare 6 tape changer that actually works.

I also have a shitload of sony cd changers and the temptation to build a 900 cd jukebox is strong.

Maybe I like them from memories of sitting on the bus or in a car programming on them. Edit: Here, I don't have 90's laptops but earlier ones. Well, kind of laptops. The one on the left is something I lusted after as a kid every time I saw it in radio shack. Tarkus fucked around with this message at 03:42 on Jul 29, 2021 |
