Used to work with a guy who was a next-level metalhead. Been a programmer for years and years at that point but afaict it was to subsidize metal poo poo. Ran a review website and and to just about every metal show in the Portland area no matter what. I like Melvins which is the only sludge I know. Can’t stand throaty screamy metal vocals, poo poo’s garbage. Just fuckin’ crap that undoes any actual talent emanating from the rest of the band.
